Mette has spent years in both charity and private practice, working with dogs, cats and other small companion animals and their owners, always in Brighton, Hove and East Sussex. She has extensive experience in all aspects of veterinary practice and has a special interest in surgery. Mette’s role as supervisory veterinary surgeon is to direct and guide the clinical team and be responsible for the high level of clinical care to all clients of the practice.
Her time at home is spent with her husband and teenage son and looking after their pets: Emma, the Border Terrier, Master Yoda the cat, two budgerigars, a bearded dragon, two tortoises and a fish tank.
He enjoys travelling and has a keen interest in technology - he is always on the look out for new ways to use the latest tech in his consult room!
She really loves traveling, long relaxing walks by the beach in sunny days and her chocolate Labrador Ambra that waits for her in Italy.
Federica has been part of Southdown vets since July 2020 after coming back from maternity leave but has been with the CVS family for the last decade. She has always been worked in small animal Practices and Soft Tissue Surgery is her passion. She is currently working toward her Certificate to Specialise in this discipline. During her spare time (not much of it with two very young children) Fredrica loves countryside walks with her little sausage dog Tina. She also loves travelling and does her very best to go and visit family back in Italy as often as she can.
