We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. For your added convenience, there’s free parking for clients at our surgeries.
Mette was born and bred in Copenhagen, Denmark where she also went to veterinary school and qualified as a veterinary surgeon. As soon as she qualified she moved to Brighton with a plan to work here for a year or two, gain some experience and then travel home again. But nearly three decades later Mette is still here! Mette has spent years in both charity and private practice, working with dogs, cats and other small companion animals and their owners, always in Brighton, Hove and East Sussex. She has extensive experience in all aspects of veterinary practice and has a special interest in surgery. Mette’s role as supervisory veterinary surgeon is to direct and guide the clinical team and be responsible for the high level of clinical care to all clients of the practice. Her time at home is spent with her husband and teenage son and looking after their pets: Emma, the Border Terrier, Master Yoda the cat, two budgerigars, a bearded dragon, two tortoises and a fish tank.
